Black Datura is a dizzying swirl of tuberose and ylang ylang, dusted in baie rose whilst being enriched with musks, balsams and the most hypnotic white lily note.

Star Notes

WHITE CEDARWOOD TUBEROSE AMBER

Rich and dizzying, a plush bloom of white florals dancing in the dark

The fragrance starts with fresh notes of incense and pink peppercorn to unveil seductive white flowers. The tuberose plays to the duality with it sensual and dangerous facets while sophisticated notes of dark woods leave an intense trail.

Wearing Black Datura is like dancing in the dark to Nina Simone, wearing with just a glimmer of firelight from embers in a marble fireplace. It is fitting that another name for Datura is Moonflower; wearing it will ally you to the drama of the night.

A Perfumer's Story

A powerful, larger than life fragrance

This is a London story. A city full of possibilities. An evening that starts with a taxi and no clue of where it’s going. The rest of the story is yours to write. A fragrance that is larger than life, a beacon of light in the darkness. Leaving you feeling powerful, elegant and ready for night to unfold - wherever it may take you.“

The starting point is the mesmerising Datura, beautiful and opulent but poisonous at a high dosage. The perfume deals with its duality reinforced by the contrast of black and white, danger and seduction. The pink peppercorn introduces a feminine and sensual tuberose that reveals a dangerous captivating scent, sublimated by balmy and dark woody notes to leave an intense and elegant trail”.
