A charming and modern rose perfume, a pure blossom of blushing ivory petals and a moment of stillness.
A sweet resonance of fruits lifts the petals, tangy blackcurrant and juicy mandarin, whilst sandalwood and musks create an impression of warm skin. The delicate sensation of cashmere merges with a garment of fresh petals stitched together, caressing the skin. The rose sits alone, freshly picked and serene.

ROSE (UPCYCLED)
Upcycled, for more sustainable use of the bi-product of natural extraction, the scent produced is fresh, spicy and with a subtle fruitiness of the peony.
BLACK PEPPER
For perfumery the slightly under-ripe peppercorns are dried, crushed then steam distilled. The resulting oil is a complex mix of heat and spice with a touch of freshness.
CASCARILLA OIL
Steam distilled from the bark of the Croton Eluteria shrub, the oil gives a spicy, peppery aroma with a hint of cinnamon.

A Classic Rose with a Modern Approach
As a couture fragrance house, used to pushing the boundaries of classic perfumery, we felt that as an English house, a rose fragrance was an important step to take as the ‘queen of florals’. It took the house 15 years until 2015 to release a rose, and when it did, we wanted to take a modern approach and Mathieu Nardin was given the task. Mathieu has said “My idea for Rose Silence was to create a very different kind of rose scent for the market. A modern rose scent that was sort of artisinal but definitely wearable”. What he produced became for years the best seller with global appeal and fans of all ages.
