Set on the captivating bohemian island of Hydra, with the breathtaking backdrop of its iconic port and the shimmering Aegean Sea, we hosted our ‘All Senses’ event—a unique collaboration between Miller Harris, Hydra Editions, and Naked Summers. This unforgettable evening was a celebration of food, creativity, and sensory immersion, with every moment paying tribute to the captivating charm of Hydra.

A Warm Welcome

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a refreshing cup of traditional Greek Mountain tea. This soothing brew, known for its health benefits, set the tone for a night that was as much about mindfulness and connection as it was about creativity.

A Creative Collaboration

The event began with an introduction from Vasiliki Verousi, the founder of Hydra Edition, a traveling workshop series dedicated to celebrating and preserving the island’s cultural heritage. Vasiliki’s opening remarks set the stage for a night of exploration and artistic expression.

Following Vasiliki’s introduction, our team at Miller Harris presented the inspiration behind our Hydra Figue fragrance, a scent that encapsulates the scent of the artist’s idyll - combining the fruit of the fig with sea salt, Greek saffron and up-cycled oakwood.

Artistic Expression with Naked Summers

Christina Mandilari, the talented founder of Naked Summers, then led a hands-on workshop where guests had the opportunity to create their own ceramic tiles. Drawing on her expertise and passion for ceramics, Cristina demonstrated her craft and guided participants through the process, allowing them to explore their own creativity. The result was a collection of bespoke ceramic tiles, each one a unique memento of the evening and a personal connection to the island’s artistic spirit.

In keeping with the spirit of sustainability and creativity, the evening’s artistic endeavors embraced the concept of up-cycling. Guests were invited to create their own artwork using fig leaves as palettes, a nod to the natural beauty and resources of the island.

A Culinary Journey Inspired by Hydra Figue

Drawing inspiration from our summer fragrance, Hydra Figue, the evening’s culinary offerings were a feast for both the palate and the imagination. Each canapé was meticulously crafted to reflect the traditional flavors of Greece, with ingredients like figs, sea salt, and Ouzo capturing the essence of the island. The result was a series of dishes that not only delighted the senses but also told a story of Hydra’s rich culinary heritage.

As the night drew to a close, guests departed with their handmade ceramic tiles, a sample of Hydra Figue, and the memories of an evening filled with creativity, connection, and sensory delight.
